Hydro Ottawa is working to restore service in the Kanata area where an outage has left almost 2,000 customers without power and disrupted traffic signals at several intersections.
The company said it is still investigating the cause behind the outage in the Herzberg, March, Klondike areas.
The company says crews are performing emergency switching to restore service, but do not expect full restoration before 11 a.m.
