Hydro Ottawa has reported a large power outage in areas north of Highway 417 from Churchill Avenue to Preston Street.
The company says the outage is due to a traffic collision and crews are assessing the extent of the damage.
Power is expected to be restored by 5 p.m. to the 8,708 customers affected.
