Ottawa police have laid a number of charges against a man in relation to an alleged assault at a fast food restaurant on Alta Vista Drive on Nov. 10 around 7:45 p.m.
According to police, a man entered the restaurant in the area of 1500 Alta Vista Dr., produced a razor and then assaulted an employee before fleeing.
He didn’t take anything from the premise before fleeing and there were no injuries as a result of the attack, according to police.
Police responding to the assault call arrested the suspect a short time later.
David Findlay, 30, of Toronto has been charged with robbery, possession of a weapon and assault. He appeared in an Ottawa court on Tuesday and is expected to appear again on Wednesday.
