Environment Canada warns that after an evening of precipitation, a few patches of lingering freezing drizzle remains in the area Wednesday morning.
Eastern Ontario is being affected by the swatch of mixed precipitation due to gtemperatures that hover around the freezing mark.
“A cold front crossing Southern Ontario today will tend to sweep any remnant freezing drizzle to the east,” the office warns in a special weather statement.
Roads may become “rather slippery, especially any untreated surfaces,” the office cautions. Drivers should adjust their driving accordingly, particulkarly in the morning commute.
