Ottawa police say they used a stun gun early Tuesday to arrest a man in Kanata who was out of control after a night of drinking.
Police say residents called to report a man was being belligerent and acting irrationally around 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
Authorities arrived at the address on Autumnfield Street in Kanata to find the man. When arrest attempts were not successful, they decided to use the stun gun to subdue the 21-year-old.
He was taken to hospital for treatment.
The investigation continues.
