Poilievre takes over NCC responsibilities

Nepean-Carleton MP Pierre Poilievre was appointed as the minister responsible for the National Capital Commission in a cabinet shuffle announced Monday.

Poilievre, the minister of democratic reform, was also given the employment and social development portfolio in the shuffle.

The cabinet shuffle was in response to John Baird’s resignation last week as Foreign Affairs minister.
