A 23-year-old worker was treated for a broken leg and wrist, as well as facial and head injuries after falling from the roof of a three-storey building in the 600 block of Wilson Street in the city’s east end.
Paramedics said the man, whose identity was not released was clearing snow from the roof before the 10-metre fall at about 11:30 a.m.
The man is in serious but stable condition in hospital.
The Ontario Ministry of Labour is investigating the incident.
