Ottawa police say their stations around the city have been closed to the public due to “an ongoing criminal investigation.”
“A call came in at 2 p.m. as a threat against one of our buildings. The investigation is ongoing and until such time as it’s complete there is no public access to our buildings,” said Const. Marc Soucy.
Police announced the closing on Twitter late Tuesday afternoon.
No further details were immediately available. The shutdown includes the city’s three Collision Reporting Centres,” Soucy said.
