the city government will provide electricity by turn. for example, it might give downtown 8 hours and then switch the power to neapean for next 8 hours and downtown's power will be shut down. so if you got power, you should prepare more food as more as you can and get some ice to protect your food for a while. Hydro ottawa said it just got half of the electricity capacity as normal.
