没有固定的限额。根据你的信用积累银行会主动给你提高。好像还有不封顶的。不过没什么必要吧？

Gold我不知道，我有一张Royalbank的Platinum，它的最高上限是50000。当然我没有那么高。
用下来觉得Gold和Platinum比classic最大的好处是它们能在租车的时候减保险。而且减不少。其它的没有觉得

six months after the issurance date, you may call them to lift your credit limit to certain level, depending on your annual income and your credit record.

Basic class doesn't have annual fee, so you probably don't get some discount provided by Gold or Plainium classes.

I have Gold and Platinum Cards, but I only use them when I rent a car. I don't need to pay car insurance.I use other cards they provide 1-2% discount, like Canadian Tire Option Master Card and President Choise Master Card.

高了一般没坏处,买飞机票不用惦记会不会超限额,一超可要罚$20-30.
万一要有人盗用,你也才付$50的责任.

只是一个提醒：

我用这些金卡租了不少车，有一点大家千万注意。绝大多数能够COVER INSURANCE的实际上只是DAMAGE和盗窃。
你要租车，还要考虑：
（1） LIABILITY （这是保险费中最大的部分）
（2） MEDICAL BENEFIT。

这一点我已经和3家主要CANADA银行的金卡核对过。
