No one was injured after a “fairly large” section of brush caught fire in Richmond late Saturday night, fire officials said.
About one acre of brush was on fire behind 6038 Ottawa St. when firefighters arrived just after 10 p.m.
Crews got the fire under control by 10:15 p.m.
The fire department reminds the public that a burn ban is still in effect for the area.
