Police officers from the MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais are asking for the public’s assistance to identify a motorcyclist who was caught on a police dash camera weaving dangerously through traffic on busy Highway 307 near Val-des-Monts on Apr. 19.
A police officer en route to another emergency call spotted the reckless motorcyclist at around 6:30 p.m.
At one point the motorcyclist drove along the yellow centre line to pass a car, weaving between that car and an oncoming vehicle.
The video was recorded between Des Sables Road and the junction of Route Du Carrefour (Highway 366) along Highway 307.
The officer had to then pull off to attend to the first emergency call.
The motorcycle the driver was piloting is described as a sport’s model, burgundy in colour. The driver was wearing a red coat. Anyone with information about the identity of the driver is asked to contact police at 1-844-477-2529.
