Ottawa Police Week kicks off with another plaque for Chief Bordeleau

Mayor Jim Watson kicked off Ottawa Police Week May 11, 2015. This year’s theme, ‘Discover pPolicing,’ aims to recognize and celebrate the men and women of the police service, the civilian staff and the many community volunteers who work along with the police service and to recognize the rewarding work that policing brings into the community.

The mayor presented Chief Charles Bordeleau with a commemorative plaque, joking that the chief gets one each year.
