Ottawa Fire Service rescue specialists were required to free people trapped in vehicles in two separate crashes Friday morning.
At about 10:30 a.m., a car collided with a dump truck at Limebank Road near Mitch Owen Road.
Firefighters using specialized equipment pulled a woman patient from the car.
She was taken to hospital with undisclosed injuries.
Meanwhile, fire services responded to a multi-vehicle collision at about 11 a.m. at Old Richmond Road and Moodie Drive.
A man was extricated from the vehicle with undisclosed injuries.
