A 37-year-old man suffered serious head injuries when struck by a car at Bronson Avenue and Lisgar Street Wednesday morning.
“It was a bit surprising that he wasn’t more seriously hurt, given the damage to the car,” said Ottawa Paramedic Service spokesman J.P. Trottier.
The victim was described as being in stable condition when taken to hospital.
Traffic in the area was disrupted for more than an hour while police conducted an investigation.
