The Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a fatal collision on Highway 43 Sunday afternoon.
Two people died in the collision that happened around 2:20 p.m. in Drummond North Elmsley Township between Perth and Smiths Falls.
Highway 43 is closed between Frizell Road and Churchill Road, and will remain closed until at least 6 p.m. on Sunday. Police are diverting traffic between Perth and Smiths Falls to Port Elmsley Road, located between Rideau Ferry Road and Highway 43.
Lanark County OPP are asking witnesses to contact Lanark County Detachment at 613-267-2626 or by using the OPP Toll Free Number 1 888 310 1122.
