Two people in hospital after falling from Amnesia Rockfest ferris wheel

Two people were treated for non-life-threatening injuries on Saturday after falling from a ferris wheel at the Amnesia Rockfest music festival in Montebello.

They fell from a six-metre-tall ride and were taken to hospital with several minor injuries, the Sûreté du Québec said on Sunday.

Police were on scene but found no reason to start a criminal investigation.
