There are multiple widespread power outages Tuesday afternoon ing Gloucester, Nepean and Ottawa, according to Hydro Ottawa.
Power lines were downed and traffic lights were also out, causing flashing red lights during Ottawa’s rush hour.
According to the Hydro Ottawa outage tracker, more than 1,800 people in the Alta Vista, Cyrville and Somerset areas are being affected by these outages.
