Gatineau police are looking for the public’s help to identify a man who was found dead in the Ottawa River last month.
Police have been attempting to identify the man since May 31, when an employee found his body in the hydroelectric dam near Eddy Street.
The man is described as white, around 55 years old, five-foot-five (1.7 metres) and 220 pounds (100 kg) with grey hair and a balding forehead. He was wearing black Oakley sandals size 10, navy Mountain Ridge shorts, a dark-coloured Mountain Ridge undershirt and a dark-coloured Canada jacket. Police said the man had had his appendix removed.
Anyone with information can call Sgt. Pierre Bastien at 819 243-2345, ext. 7820.
