Trapped driver freed from car, two hurt in head-on crash in south end

Ottawa fire services personnel had to free the driver of a car who was trapped inside his vehicle after a head-on crash on Bank Street near Leitrim Road Saturday morning.

Emergency personnel were called to the crash near Little Ray’s Reptile Zoo at about 10:40 a.m.

Both the trapped driver and the driver of the second vehicle were turned over to Ottawa Paramedic Services for further examination.
