Cornwall Community Police Service is asking for the public’s assistance to aid an investigation into a collision on Sydney Street and Ninth Street Tuesday morning that killed a 70-year-old cyclist.
According to police, the collision happened at around 9:15 a.m. between a cyclist and a blue Ford Taurus.
The cyclist, who has not yet been identified by police, was sent to hospital with serious injuries, but later succumbed.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
The Cornwall Community Police Service is asking anyone who may have witnessed this collision or has any information about the matter to call 613-933-5000 ext.2755.
