Four people were displaced after fire ripped through a home at 1160 Klock Rd. in Gatineau Wednesday morning.
Firefighters were called to scene shortly after 6 a.m. and found the fire fully engaged in the two-storey home on the large lot near Cook Road.
After ensuring the residents had all left the home, they began a containment strategy.
While the fire was contained rapidly, firefighters remained on site most of the morning to watch for hot spots.
There were no injuries.
