Boaters were back in droves on a steamy Saturday in the capital, after a two-day glitch at the downtown Ottawa locks earlier this week caused backups down the Rideau Canal.
Tourists lined the facility for hours on end, as all manner of watercraft made their way up and down the system between the Canal and the Ottawa River, leisurely rising and dropping as their water elevators filled and emptied.
