Ottawa police guns and gangs unit is investigating after a man was arrested and a gun seized following an incident Monday night in which a car was rammed in the city’s east end.
According to reports, the incident occurred at about 10:30 p.m. on Walkley Road near St. Laurent Boulevard when a car carrying two men rammed a second car in Walkley’s eastbound lane.
The car that was struck went off onto the south curb.
When police arrived a gun was found in the struck vehicle and the man in the car was arrested.
The investigation continues.
