A broken watermain on Montreal Road near Ogilvie Road is hampering traffic in the city’s east end.
The main apparently burst in the early morning hours and traffic was initially blocked in both directions in the area of Ogilvie Road.
By about 7 a.m., one lane of westbound traffic was proceeding, but the east-bound lanes remained blocked.
The city urged drivers to take alternative routes. There is no word on how long repairs will take.
