Ottawa police traffic officers pulled over a man on Highway 417 near Palladium Drive exit early Friday doing 175 km/h in his mother-in-law’s car.
Police wouldn’t reveal many details about the incident, however they did say that the vehicle was impouned.
“Someone has some explaining to do!” police tweeted.
The man has been charged under Ontario’s stunt driving legislation, and his licence is suspended for a week. He is expected to appear in an Ottawa court.
His identity has not yet been released by police.
