MRC des Collines police have arrested four men in connection with a recent string of robberies in or around Wakefield and Edelweiss.
Police said the four men, all from Gatineau and aged between 20 and 25, were arrested Tuesday around 4:20 a.m. following a trespass on a property in Edelweiss.
According to police, the four have been involved in numerous break-ins, thefts and mischief at properties on Cross Road, McGarry Road, Banville Road, Stevenson Road and Wakefield-Heights Road.
Police also believe that there is a possibility that other residents in the area are victims, but have not yet have reported any incidents to the police.
Police said the four suspects operate at night and were last seen travelling in a four-door 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer, blue, with Quebec plates.
