The anti-gang unit of Gatineau police has arrested three people after a two-week investigation, and seized a mix of cocaine, crack and marijuana.
The police first stopped an SUV on Boulevard de la Carrière in Hull. They already had a narcotics search warrant for the vehicle in question, and they arrested the two occupants for possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking.
Moments later, police with another warrant entered an apartment at 274 rue Saint-Rédempteur and arrested one man.
They also searched 75 Lamoureux St., the home of the two people arrested in the SUV.
Police seized 253 grams of marijuana, 473 grams of cocaine, 7 grams of crack, 74 grams of hashish, 17 unidentified tablets, a small amount of marijuana seed, the SUV and $13,030 in cash.
Trafficking charges are expected against the two men, aged 40 and 60, and a 39-year-old woman.
