About 25,000 runners, walkers and wheel chair ‘rollers’ raised $400,000 Sunday in the eight annual Canada Army Run.
Since 2008, the run has raised more than $1.6 million for Soldier On and the Military Families Fund.
On a day of glorious weather, about 14,500 ran the 5-kilometre event and more that 10,000 the half marathon.
The 2008 inaugural run attracted 7,000 participants and has steadily grown since.
