Arrest ends Gatineau Park pot harvest

A 35-year-old man carrying nearly 11½ kilograms of harvested marijuana was arrested “in flagrante delicto,” a Latin phrase that in this case could mean “caught green-handed,” in the Gatineau Park area on Wednesday morning, MRC des Collines police said.

In a message on Twitter, police credited the “vigilance” of National Capital Commission conservation officers for the arrest on Pine Road, which runs into the park from Route 105 in Chelsea.
