Firefighters quickly extinguished a fire in an apartment building early Sunday morning that left one person displaced.
Several calls alerted Ottawa Fire Services at about 7:15 a.m. to smoke coming from the lower level of 255 Donald St., a high-rise Ottawa Housing building.
The fire was extinguished by 8 a.m. and no injuries were reported. The cause had not been determined.
The Red Cross was assisting one person whose home was damaged in the fire.
