Safety check 洋葱车行要90,而一摸黑只要65
Sorry, I cannot type Chinese in this computer.
Hello xuzhou, I cannot comment how other garage perform their safety check and how much they charge customer.
I can comment on how we conduct safety check. As we all know Ontario Safety Certificate is a very loosely standard, and out-of-date. For example, car with runflat tires must have working TPMS to acknowledge driver of under-inflated tires. Car equipped without spare-tire must have runflat tires installed all the time, even in winter times. These new standards aren't in Ontario Safety Standard, otherwise, a pass will also put driver in a dangerous situation.
Part of the extra steps we took is an alignment check on all safety vehicles, after pass our initial inspection. Alignment check is not part of the Ontario Safety but it can detect any irregular angles on suspension components, which Ontario Safety only check for visible leak.
For buyer, irregular alignment angles mean certain things.
1) Any previous accident that might be non-report for the car.
2) Save you in the short run for immediate expenses on irregular tire wear
3) Any non-visual damage on the vehicle, since alignment check is laser-guided precision
This inspection ensure vehicle safety, and value for the car.
For seller, any vehicle pass all our tests (standard and non-standard) which ensure re-sell value of your car. Potential can sell more than standard market price.
Hope that helps.
