A Gatineau man faces several charges after posting comments, which included alleged threats of violence, on the Facebook page of a regional TV station.

On Tuesday, the man allegedly posted comments to TVA Gatineau’s page, claiming he had been wrongfully arrested, lost his job and planned to “explode” those responsible.

It was not immediately clear whether the television station was directly involved in the alleged arrest.

He was arrested by Gatineau police officers on Wednesday.

Fouad Znaidi, 34, is expected to appear in Gatineau courts Friday.

He is facing four charges including, making death threats or threatening personal injury; threatening to use violence to undermine the administration of justice; and breach of commitment of the court.
