The Ottawa police holdup squad has charged an 18-year-old after a man was stabbed in the shoulder during an August robbery.
Omr Mohamed, 18, is charged with robbery, aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, possession of weapon.
Police responded to the area of Hunt Club Road and Lorry Greenberg Drive around 11:30 p.m. on Aug. 10 after a man phoned police reporting he had been stabbed. Police determined that the victim had been involved in a fight nearby.
Two suspects are believed to have fled the stabbing scene in an SUV of unknown make, model or colour.
Mohamed was scheduled to appear in court Friday.
