A 23-year-old Ottawa man was to appear in court Tuesday on a variety of charges in connection with a robbery at an east end drug store in September.
Police say a man walked into a Russell Road pharmacy at 6:20 p.m. Sept. 23 with a prescription and, when the document’s legitimacy was questioned, he threatened the pharmacist.
The drug store employee handed over the prescription and the man fled. There were no injuries.
Mostafa Issa was arrested on Sept. 28 on an unrelated matter and held in custody.
He is now also charged robbery, uttering a forged document, personation and two counts of breach of recognizance.
