Despite a long-standing sports rivalry with Toronto, Ottawa mayor Jim Watson, donned the blue Thursday, October 8, and raised the Blue Jays flag in front of city hall. He was showing the city’s support for Canada’s only baseball team as they head into the World Series. City councillors Jean Cloutier (left) and Jody Mitic (centre) also attended.
