Pair rescued after car overturns on 417

Two people were extricated from a car that rolled over the median on the Queensway at Kent Street late Monday, Ottawa firefighters said.

Firefighters removed the windshield from the vehicle to free the occupants, who were described as conscious and alert.

The occupants were placed in the care of paramedics.
