Ottawa police have charged two men following a midnight stabbing Wednesday at Cedarwood Drive off Walkley Road.
Police said patrol officers responded to a disturbance in the area and found two men suffering from stab wounds after a fight. The two men were arrested on scene shortly after midnight. They were taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Mohamud Hussein, 25, is facing five charges, including aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and assaulting police with the intent to resist. Hussein is expected to appear in court on Thursday morning.
Mohamed Ismail, 20, is charged with assault causing bodily harm and assault with a weapon. He is expected to appear in court on Nov. 24.
