A worker at a government-owned farm near the Nepean Sportsplex on Woodroffe Avenue sustained serious injuries Monday morning when his arm became entangled in an auger.
According to paramedics, the 66-year-old man’s arm became caught in the auger while he was trying to feed livestock on the property.
The man was able to pull himself free and call 911.
He was rushed to area hospital with serious injuries.
Ottawa police are investigating.
