这个是纽芬兰的省鸟啊，离St John's不远有鸟岛，上面一排排的站满puffins，很可爱的。做当地的看鲸船就连鸟岛鲸鱼一块看了~~

啊？我、我、我明年接着开车赶路去看Puffin!

Pointe-a-la-renommee的灯塔。1904年Marconi的第一个跨大西洋电话信号从这座灯塔转发回欧洲大陆。

Are you sure? I think the place where Marconi sent the signal was the Cabot Tower in St. John's, Newfoundland. The place is now called Signal Hill.

And yes, you will see those lovely puffins if you visit St. John's.

I was cheated ...
According to the 2003-2004 Official Tourist Guide, this lighthouse "was a strategic communications point during the two World Wars. It was here, in 1904, that Marconi installed North America's first maritime radio station." So, if the Guide is not cheating, Marconi used more than one lighthouse.
