Police have identified the victim of a motorcycle accident Thursday afternoon in a cottage area 150 kilometres west of Ottawa.
Jeffrey Cook, 57, of Brockville, was killed in the single-vehicle crash on Matawatchan Road in the Township of Greater Madawaska, provincial police in Renfrew reported.
The accident happened at about 1 p.m. Thursday, police said. Matawatchan Road was closed from Centennial Lake Road to Highway 41 while police investigated.
