Police say they are continuing to investigate a crash that killed a 77-year-old North Glengarry man.

Ronald Taillefer, 77, was aboard a motorcycle and heading west on Highway 2 at County Road 31 in South Dundas Township when he was struck by an eastbound vehicle at about 2:28 p.m. Friday.

“For reasons under investigation, the eastbound passenger vehicle collided with a westbound motorcycle in the westbound lane of the roadway,” reported the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry OPP.

Taillefer was pronounced dead at hospital. The 18-year-old woman driving the other vehicle suffered minor injuries.
