Ottawa Fire Services said two people will be displaced by a morning fire at 1485 Heatherington Rd. near Heron Gate Tuesday.
The fire department said several calls came in at about 11 a.m. reporting flames were visible from unit 25 of the rowhouse development.
Upon arrival, crews verified flames were visible for the front window of the home and declared a working fire. Heavy smoke was visible through the front door.
Fire crews conducted a primary and secondary search of the structure and there are no injuries to report.
Ottawa police, paramedics, Enbridge Gas and Ottawa Hydro have all also been dispatched to the scene, as have victim services.
A cause of the fire is not yet known and an estimate of damages is not yet available.
