Parts of Queen Street and Lyon Street have been closed while Ottawa police officials investigate a “susipicious” package found in the area.
Police said a passerby reported the package shortly after 11:30 a.m. Thursday.
Emergency crews have been dispatched to the location.
As a result of the police operation, Queen Street is closed between Kent Street and Bay Street.
Lyon Street is closed between Sparks and Albert streets.
