Ottawa police are asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect or suspects in a serious assault on Nov. 10 that put a 41-year-old man in hospital.
In a release Friday evening, police said the assault occurred in a residential parking space on Craig Henry Drive near Sovereign Avenue between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m. in which the victim was “hit repeatedly, possibly with blunt objects.”
He was taken to hospital in critical condition.
Investigators are looking for witnesses to the assault, or anyone who may have seen suspicious people or vehicles in the area around the time or on Nov. 9.
Anyone with information can call investigators at 613-236-1222, ext. 2666. Anonymous tips can be submitted through Crime Stoppers, at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or through the Ottawa police app.
