Longtime Liberal organizer Herb Metcalfe has been sentenced to house arrest and slapped with a fine of nearly $400,000 for evading taxes as an Ottawa lobbyist. The CRA said Metcalfe was sentenced on Sept. 30, 2015. He pleaded guilty to one count of income tax evasion.
