A 34-year-old woman was transported to hospital after what the Ontario Provincial Police described as a serious sexual assault on Wolfe Island, near Kingston.
The Leeds County Crime Unit launched an investigation after the assault, which police said in a release occurred between Tuesday and Friday.
The OPP have issued a warrant for Michael Ross Burnett, 39, of no fixed address. He is wanted on charges of sexual assault causing bodily harm and forcible confinement.
Anyone with information about his location was asked to contact police at 1-888-310-1122.
