The 2015 edition of Operation Red Nose Outaouais helped almost 2,000 partiers get home safely during the holiday period.
More than 1,300 volunteers were in service over 12 nights since late November, delivering people to both sides of the Ottawa River.
Spokesperson Danielle Legault said the number of Ottawa clients was not available.
The Ottawa edition of the service was unable to find a sponsor this year.
“We received calls for somewhere between 30-50 people looking for assistance in Ottawa to Ottawa trips,” Legault said.
“We were unable to help with those, but any calls involving travel to or from the Outaouais were dealt with.”
The free service accepted donations and raised about $50,000 Alliance Sportive Outaouais, to pay for coaching developmental programs and will benefit about 10,000 young athletes in the Outaouais.
