Ottawa police have closed Abbey Hill Road at Castlefrank Road in Kanata following a collision with a pedestrian.
Police said calls reporting the collision came in around 9:30 a.m.
Paramedics reported that a woman in her 40s was struck by a small delivery truck and suffered head injuries that led to her suffering from memory problems at the scene.
She also suffered injuries to her back, which paramedics said were not believed to be serious.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
