A 35-year-old Cantley woman made it to less than 500 metres from her Mont Cascades-area home before she was arrested for impaired driving at 8:15 a.m. Thursday.
MRC des Collines police said her breathalyzer reading was about two-and-a-half times the legal limit.
Police said they were alerted by other drivers in the area.
The woman’s license has been automatically suspended for 90 days and her van was seized for 30 days. She is to appear in court at a later date.
A 31-year-old Rivière St-Paul man in the vehicle was not charged.
